After accident, Darienite charged with DUI

Daniel Hughes , 47, of 722 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien, was arrested Dec. 30 on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain the minimum insurance and failure to drive right after a three-car accident on Mansfield Avenue.
