The inaugural Salant Integrity Award will be presented to Bob Schieffer, Chief Washington Correspondent and the CBS News anchor of Face the Nation, during a private dinner at Woodway Country Club in Darien, Conn., Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. As part of the New Canaan Library's yearlong celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Salant Room and the Salant Lecture series, the library will inaugurate the Salant Integrity Award at a private dinner Oct. 17 at the Woodway Country Club in Darien.
