DHS Student, a Young Japanese and American Author, Publishes First Book

Darien High School Senior Christine Mari Inzer has written a graphic memoir with her drawings and prose, titled "Halfway Home: Drawing My Way Through Japan" and based on a trip to Japan, where she was born, according to an article in New Canaan/Darien magazine. Her mother is Japanese and her father, American, and Inzer says she identifies herself as both Japanese and American, although living in America means it's harder to stay in touch with her Japanese side.
