A funny thing happened to Daniel Reitman on his path to veterinary school -- his career path detoured into a dog walking and pet care business that is now moving into Fairfield County. The resident of Port Washington, Long Island, N.Y., is expanding his Dan's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting service into Stamford, Darien and Greenwich after successfully building the business in Nassau County, N.Y., for the last six years.
