Wedding spending nationally topped a record $31,000 on average last year, according to The Knot, a website that surveyed some 16,000 brides and grooms that use its website last year. With brides often planning upscale weddings in Southwest Connecticut, that could add up to a big 2015 season for shops like A Little Something White in Darien, Conn.
