A 35-year-old Norwalk woman was intoxicated when she picked up her two children at a daycare program at St. Thomas More Church in Darien and drove them home, said Darien police, who arrested her. Police received a call at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13 that Maureen Ruckman, 35, of Norwalk, appeared to be intoxicated when she picked up her two young boys at the church daycare program at 374 Middlesex Rd. She had arrived back home on Dellwood Road in Norwalk when Darien police caught up with her.
