Just days after the biggest boxing match of this century Darien coach Mike Scott took the opportunity to compare his team's 12-5 home win over Trumbull to a boxer taking a punch in the first round and getting back up. That punch came courtesy of an Eagles squad that put up four runs in the first inning paced by doubles from Carlos Garrido and Chris O'Brien and a two run single from Alex Rauso.
