A woman working for a doctor's office in Darien altered checks made out to various vendors as well as insurance company checks coming into the office, then deposited them in her personal bank account, according to Darien police. The woman, Marisol Garcia of 28 Aiken St., Norwalk, had been working at the office since January of this year.
