Fairfield County will escape the brunt of a major storm heading east from the Midwest, but there is the potential for enough snow overnight to make the Tuesday morning commute a slick one. This will come after a Presidents Day in which the wind-chill factor will be at or around the zero-degree mark at noon and only reach highs of around 5 degrees above zero during the day despite sunny skies.
