Since early this morning the National Weather Service has upped its snowfall accumulation for the area as more cold air is expected to keep more of the precipitation as snow on Monday as opposed to mixed precipitation. This morning the National Weather Service predicted 1-3 inches of snow and ice accumulation as the precipitation was expected to mainly be a mixed bag.
