A website studying auto insurance rates in 69 cities and towns across Connecticut found that, other factors being equal, it's a little less expensive to insure a car in Darien than in most of the rest of the state. According to the ValuePenguin website , insurance for its benchmark cars would cost $1,643 in Darien and $1,694 on average for the communities surveyed across the state.
