The official certification from Guinness

On Saturday, at Darien Town Hall, 558 Darien residents joined arms and raised a glass to set a Guinness World Records mark for the largest linked-arm toast ever. The event was organized by the Darien Youth Commission , which collected nonperishable food items at the event and organized the droves of people into single file rows in the auditorium so the achievement could be documented.
