YWCA Parent Awareness and Barrett Bookstore in Darien will host a seminar to prepare parents who have kids entering college on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Darien author Malcolm Gauld will lead a discussion and sign copies of his recently updated book, "College Success Guaranteed 2.0." It offers a straightforward plan for parents to help their new college student not only survive freshman year, but also to thrive and succeed.
