Someone took a camera and lenses valued altogether at $2,000 and other items from a woman's car parked outside a house she's renting on Oakland Terrace last weekend, Darien police were told. The woman, 61, who is visiting the area with her husband, left the car unlocked in the driveway at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, then went out to it at 8 a.m. the next morning and saw numerous items were missing from the back seat - including the camera and lenses, and also a garmet bag holding clothing valued at $600 and a paper bag with children's gifts valued at a total of $50.
