A Darien Patch reader told us that he received a message from police last night informing them to stay inside as a bear was sighted in the area. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Darien Police Officers along with the municipal Animal Control Officer, responded to a Partridge Lane residence on the report of a black bear on the rear deck.
