Jim Cameron, a longtime commuter advocate from Darien and founder of the Commuter Action Group, recently announced his endorsements of several candidates in the Connecticut general election Tuesday, Nov. 4. Cameron, who served on the Metro-North Commuter Council for 19 years, including four as chairman, selected his candidates based on their advocacy for supporting mass transit issues. For governor, Cameron threw his support behind Democratic incumbent Dannel Malloy based on his plans to continue improvements on both the rails and the roads.
