Pair Charged With Using Fake $100 Bills At Darien Shops

After they tried to use counterfeit $100 bills at multiple locations in Darien, a New York woman and an Illinois man were arrested in Darien last week, police said. Oliva Cevallos, 20, and Richard Gordon, 19, of Dolton, Ill., were each charged with first-degree forgery, sixth-degree larceny, two counts of criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
