Bridge plates were placed over an active track near the Noroton Heights station in Darien last week, resulting in a safety breach and the suspension of three Metro-North employees. Two rail traffic controllers and a track foreman were suspended for two days without pay, Metro-North spokeswoman Marjorie Anders said Thursday.
