J & B Restaurant Partners of Long Island II, LLC, a franchise owner of 37 Friendly's in Connecticut and two other states, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to close unprofitable locations and remodel others. In Connecticut, J & B had three locations, Bridgeport, Danbury and Darien.
