Annual AAUW author's luncheon

The American Association of University Women will hold its annual book and author luncheon April 23 at 11:15 a.m., at Woodway Country Club in Darien. Featured at the event are Susan Blumberg-Kason , author of the memoir "Good Chinese Wife: A Love Affair with China Gone Wrong;" Susan Minot , author of four novels, including her latest, "Thirty Girls," which is based on a true incident that occurred in October 1996 when 139 girls at St. Mary's College in Aboke , Uganda, were abducted by guerillas from the militant Lord's Resistance Army ; and Karen Page , who along with her husband, Andrew Dornenburg , has written a number of popular cookbooks, including "The Food Lover's Guide to Wine."
