Highway road work on the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan and Stamford and on Interstate 95 in Norwalk and Darien is expected to close lanes and restrict traffic flow on Tuesday until early or mid-afternoon, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Here's where lane closures will take place, mostly on Tuesday, but also on Wednesday and on Thursday : For both Tuesday and Wednesday, on the Merritt the right lane on the northbound-traffic side of the highway is closed in all or part of a 2.7-mile stretch between Exits 35 and 36 where there were two recent sewer main collapses.
