Daniel J. McCarthy, 47, current president and chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors, will succeed Maggie Wilderotter, 60, as president and chief executive officer, effective April 3. Wilderotter, a Darien resident, will transition to a new role as executive chairman of the board. She became CEO of Frontier in 2004.
