YWCA Parent Awareness, a family-focused program that provides support and education to parents and children in order to encourage the healthy, positive development of youth and families, along with the DHSPA, MPA and the Darien YMCA, are presenting 'Understanding the Teenage Brain' on March 3 at 7 p.m. at the Darien High School Auditorium, 80 High School Lane in Darien. The DHSPA meeting begins at 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:15 p.m. Internationally known lecturer Michael Nerney will explore the underlying reasons for risky adolescent behavior and what parents can learn from this information.
